Joining a new team and learning its playing style is never easy, and making the transition late in your college career can be even tougher. These senior and graduate transfers, though, seem to have cracked the code and have immediately impacted the first month of the men's college soccer season.
Here are four transfers from some of the nation's top-performing teams that have wasted no time in making their mark on a new squad:

Simon Carlson, West Virginia (Graduate)
The graduate transfer from Georgia State has had a stellar start to his Mountaineers career, tallying four goals and four assists so far. The Atlanta native has started in each of West Virginia鈥檚 nine matches, helping the team stay undefeated and earn the top ranking in the United Soccer Coaches poll for the first time in program history . Carlson will have a chance to play against familiar faces on Oct. 23 when WVU plays Georgia State in Sun Belt conference play.

Roberto Burlew, Wisconsin (Graduate)
The Northern Kentucky transfer has played a key role in the Badger midfield, starting in each game this season and recording two assists. Burlew鈥檚 strength in transitional moments has helped the team stay undefeated at home with a 16+ goal differential. Wisconsin advanced to 6-1 on the season after an impressive 4-1 win over UCLA on Sept. 16 鈥 Burlew鈥檚 cross into the Bruin box earned the Badgers their second goal.

Jacob Woznicki, Hofstra (Graduate)
Hofstra has yet to lose a match this season and owes a team-leading five goals to Stonehill transfer Jacob Woznicki, who has scored in four of the Pride鈥檚 five wins. Hofstra鈥檚 2-0 win over Providence on Aug. 29 was aided by Woznicki鈥檚 brace, which was highlighted by the forward鈥檚 tenacity on the dribble, beating the keeper twice before slotting in the game-winner.

Luke Hille, North Carolina (Senior)
NC State transfer Luke Hille has tallied three goals so far to help the Tar Heels to a 4-0-2 start 鈥 including a beauty of a header goal to take the lead over St. John's. The forward has recorded seven shots on goal and consistently causes issues for opponents鈥 backlines with his ability in the air and game awareness. Hille will have a chance to play his former school on Friday, Sept. 20 in front of his new home crowd.
