Vanderbilt and North Carolina jump into Week 10 college baseball Power 10

Texas holds No. 1 spot in latest college baseball Power 10 rankings

It's already Week 10 in college baseball, and we have even more shakeups in the Power 10 rankings.

1. Texas (Prev. 1)

Texas is pretty much the only team to hold its spot. The Longhorns were pretty dominant in a sweep over Auburn and are a sure thing for No. 1 right now. Kimble Schuessler had one of the best weeks of anyone at the plate, hitting over .700, and he had his first multi-homer game in the series finale with 8 RBIs.

2. Clemson (Prev. 4)

Clemson moves up to No. 2. The Tigers won the series over Louisville, and sophomore Drew Titsworth threw six scoreless innings in Game 2 in his first career start.

3. Oregon State (Prev. 6)

Oregon State enters the top three. The Beavers won a big mid-week matchup against UCLA and then swept Cal State Northridge. Aiva Arquette continues to put up impressive numbers. He tied the Oregon State single-game record with six hits in a game, and Gavin Turley broke the program's career home run record set by Travis Bazzana.

4. Florida State (Prev. 7)

Florida State is at No. 4 with a lot of teams taking a drop. The Seminoles played one game last week, and it was a 19-0 win over South Florida.

5. LSU (Prev. 9)

The Tigers rebounded from a drop two weeks ago with a big series win over Alabama. Anthony Eyanson recorded 12 strikeouts over his six-inning outing in a narrow win in Game 2 to clinch the series.

6. Arkansas (Prev. 2)

Arkansas and Tennessee both drop in the rankings to Nos. 6 and 7 respectively, after they both lost a series last week. The Razorbacks were upset by Texas A&M, which has been on a tear, for their second-straight SEC series loss.

7. Tennessee (Prev. 3)

The Vols lost the series to Kentucky, and they have now dropped two of their past three series in SEC play.

8. Vanderbilt (Prev. NR)

Vanderbilt enters the rankings at No. 8 after an impressive sweep over Georgia. The Commodores hit four homers in Game 2 to secure the series before limiting Georgia鈥檚 powerful offense in Game 3 with a solid pitching performance from Connor Fennell on the mound (5.2 innings, two earned runs, 11 strikeouts).

9. North Carolina (Prev. NR)

North Carolina re-enters the Power 10 after winning the series over Virginia Tech. This team seems to be getting hot at the right time. They overcame an early deficit in the rubber match to win the series after Jackson Van De Brake hit a game-tying homer.

10. Georgia (Prev. 5)

Finally, Georgia drops five spots to No. 10 after getting swept by Vanderbilt. The Bulldogs still earned the series win over Arkansas two weeks ago to keep them in the Power 10 for now, but things are shaking up every single week.
