Colorado wins the 2024 ������Ƶ skiing championships behind two first place finishes from Magdalena Luczak. Luczak opened the championships with a win in the Women's Giant Slalom event on Wednesday, March 6. The Buffaloes then separated themselves from the pack on Friday, March 8, sweeping the Slalom event with another win from Luczak and Filip Wahlqvist taking first place in the Men's Slalom event. Magnus Boee went on to seal the deal on Saturday, March 9, taking the gold in the Men’s 20 km Mass Start Classical.

The 2024 NC skiing championships kicked off with regional qualifiers from Feb. 22-25. The selections for the Central, East and West participants were announced on Feb. 27.

The ������Ƶ championships began on March 6 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, continuing through March 9. The Alpine events were held at Mt. Werner and Howelsen Hills, while all Nordic events were hosted at Howelsen Hills.

������Ƶ skiing championship history

Schools have competed in the NC skiing championships since 1954. Denver owns the most titles with 24 – including 10 since 2000. Colorado has 20 of its own, while Utah has 14. The Utes have won the past four championships since 2019 (the 2020 championships were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic).  

The only other schools to win titles other than Denver, Colorado and Utah are Vermont (six), Dartmouth (three), Wyoming (two) and New Mexico (one).
